Bruce Lee's Unnoticed Attribute: The Non-Telegraphic Movement
Переглядів 2,1 млн9 років тому
Have you ever noticed that Bruce Lee's attacks are EXPLOSIVE??? Do you know that the real reason behind this deadly explosiveness is the attribute he perfected: NON-TELEGRAPHIC MOVEMENT. The idea of non telegraphing is to attack without any forewarning movements. If you punch with just a slight motion of your feet or body, you have “telegraphed” or warned your opponent of your intention. There ...

Переглядів 6 млн11 років тому
We all know that Bruce Lee is extremely fast. In the sequences done in movies, there are many moves or strikes that are not noticed by many of us because most of them are not quite visible. This is simply because Bruce Lee was a master and had a high degree of perfection in his skills. This analysis video depicts some of those unnoticed movements. When the slowed video is shown note that some o...

This is not wrong. There is a figure in modern boxing who uses this technique. His name is Lomachenko.

Some great comments. Anyone who has seen Bruce and delved into his real story should( if they have 25% of a brain) come away with an appreciation of a once in a lifetime(s) talent. A minimal dive into his fighting methods shows that the movie moves are just that. If he was in a real challenge or a sparring session, the real direct, effective, efficient, simplified fighting methods came out. Combine that with amazing twitch, neuro non telegraphic movement and you have a supreme martial artist. I am an unabashed but educated fan boy. My only regret is that he died too young just like other brilliant people that shine so bright that they burn out. I also wished that cell phone cameras were around when he was. Love you Bruce.

And this was him slowing down his movements for the camera. Bruce was pound for pound both the strongest and fastest person in history. Sadly it's what killed him in the end. Yes overtraining is not only real but can also be deadly.

When you've been doing MMA 20 years before the very very first UFC fight, when you've got people just now analyzing your moves, when you've got people talking about you even 50 years after your death, you KNOW you are a legend.

Bruce was the Einstein of martial arts, he looked at all aspects of combat and he would refine any technique, he even described Jeet June do as : using no way as way, having no limit as limitation. This was one great step in the 1970 , he did not believe in styles, because styles are forms that do not change or refine , any form can become a prison of limitation for your mind, you must be free to explore every aspect of life, Bruce was formless, this is why on his tombstone it is said : once lived a free man in a classical mess , So the the creative power this individual was far beyond one could imagine. So always remember to absorb what is useful , reject what is useless, and refine or create what has not been done !

Bruce Lee was our world's Goku. In power, integrity, intensity, and unbridled speed. In the only movie he was in, the cameras were not able to capture his movements, so in The House of the Dragon, Bruce slowed himself to about 50% speed, which is still impressive to watch. But can only wonder how truly, impossibly strong Bruce Lee was when he was taken too soon. Yet the truly greatest are often taken too soon, only because they're needed for an other battles. And given he's literally Goku in strength, passion and honor? Whoever he's against now is FuCkEd.
